Chuck Homler

Chuck Homler caught the photography bug at a young age, intending on going to college for journalism.  While pursuing a degree he took a detour out of a visual medium and into the world of sound and a 15 year career in radio broadcasting.

Radio brought Chuck from New Jersey to Maine where he fell in love with birds and picked-up photography again after a long hiatus.  Chucks' work caught the attention of the Portland Press Herald in 2009 and a regular column in the Biddeford-Saco Courier ran for almost a year as a way to raise awareness of the animals in York and Cumberland counties.  Images were sold to raise money for the Center for Wildlife in Cape Neddick.

While this page focuses on wildlife, there are also pages that feature Cityscapes, Landscapes, Drone (Aerial) Photography and Ships. Ship-spotting is a lot more fun, with a drone.
